Panasonic announced the 32GB P2 solid state card availability (model AJ-P2C032RG) for its popular P2 and P2 HD product line. The Reusable 32GB P2 card offers longer recording time than the media available for tape-based systems or disk.
On a single P2 card 32GB, professionals can record 32 minutes in AVC-Intra 100 or DVCPRO HD; 40 minutes in AVC-Intra 100 in native 1080/24p; 80 minutes on AVC-Intra 100 or DVCPRO HD in native 720/24p; 64 minutes in DVCPRO50 and 128 minutes in DVCPRO.
For a P2 HD camcorder AJ-HPX3000 or an AJ-HPX2000, which have five slots for P2 cards, the recording time is fivefold. For example a user can record up to 200 minutes of quality video master in AVC-Intra 100 in 1080/24p with an HPX3000 of five Slots.
In addition to the 32GB P2 card, Panasonic also offers the 16GB PJ-P2C032RG P2 card.
