Will-Burt announced the new D-TEC II safety system, which improves alternating current and sonar detection while improving product operational quality.
"Used with telescopic masts, the D-TEC II safety system replaces the D-TEC," said Alan Fenton, chief commercial and marketing officer--. Will-Burt continues to advise the client for the purpose of implementing product improvements. Targeted engineering resources have helped make the D-TEC II easier to maintain and thus improve overall product performance."
The D-TEC II safety system offers: AC current detection using dual E-Field (voltage) and H-Field (current) threshold sensors, enhanced collision detection, detection of smaller distant objects, built-in bypass capability by Osha boundary parameterization, expanded automatic testing capabilities to ensure that the system is operating correctly during system start-up and diagnostics, long-life LEDs for search lighting to reduce the need for product maintenance, standard rack mounting, Optional remote display, improved sensor mounting design for faster installation, improved unventilated sensor coupling for superior moisture resistance, audible warning system in English and Spanish, alphanumeric display for status reading, and smaller gauge cables for easier installation.
A prominent feature of the D-TEC II safety system is the built-in emergency bypass , which allows the operator to safely take control of the system when it is certain that there are no underlying problems, thus eliminating the need for separate installation.
