PRN to operate digital signage at Wal-Mart Mexico

Premier Retail Networks, Inc. (PRN), a subsidiary of Thomson, announced that it has reached an agreement with Wal-Mart de Mexico to manage its digital advertising system.

Premier Retail Networks, Inc. (PRN), a subsidiary of Thomson, announced that it reached an agreement with Wal-Mart de Mexico to manage your digital advertising system installed in the most of its wal-mart Supercenter and Aurrerá Winery. As part of the new business relationship, PRN provides Wal-Mart de Mexico with a complete solution that includes: a media strategy designed for the point of sale, specialized programming, sale of advertising space and the absolute operation of the medium.

In this way, PRN will operate and manage the network of Mexico's largest digital screens, installed at 287 establishments and integrated by more than 6 thousand screens of liquid crystal (LCD), strategically placed in the corridors with high customer traffic as well as in the areas of wait inside the store. The medium will consist of two channels of video per store, which will have designed programming specifically for the location of the screens on the floor of sales. For the screens that are installed in the Main corridors, the programming will be a guide on the products and promotions available in the store, looking for encourage cross-selling of products through transmission of short messages strategically aimed at the customer. In the screens of the waiting areas, the programming will have informative and entertainment content about the products and services that you can purchase both inside and outside the shop.

The creative team of PRN Mexico designs the content to the measure for the environment counting on the training and support of your counterpart in the United States. The objective of the project is use digital displays to improve the experience of purchase of Wal-Mart customers and be an important support for communication with visitors and associates using the power of video, sound and movement.

Thomson, through Premier Retail Networks (PRN), operates currently a worldwide network of more than 6,500 stores in the major retail chains working closely with them, with content providers and advertisers. Some of the chains with which PRN currently works are: Acme Markets, Albertsons, Best Buy, Carrefour, Circuit City, Costco, Jewel-Osco, Pathmark, SAMs Club, Shaws, ShopRite, Star Market and Wal-Mart Stores.
