At NAB, VSN (Video Stream Networks, S.L.) will emphasize the concept 'OneStop Tapeless TV', an idea about "automation and television without tapes" from a single manufacturer. The company will showcase a suite of open and affordable automation solutions for SD/HD channels developed by a single vendor.
The new version of vsncreaTV (scheduling and traffic) integrates naturally with classic VSN products (ingest, file, mam and vsnmatic playout ); vsncreaTV now allows to streamline the entire workflow of small-medium channels; and vsnairnews (studio playout ) allows redundant and synchronized configurations, such as the one recently installed on Syria's national television.
Likewise, VSN will present at NAB the MOS version of its integrated news production system, now compatible with the text tools of other manufacturers.
During the fair will also debut the new vsnmulticom9 that offers functions such as: ability to program various "virtual arrays" (to manage disconnections with a single playlist), possibility of controlling a DVE channel (to perform PiP effects in advertising breaks), bidirectional synchronization with vsncreaTV and integration with traffic from manufacturers such as Harris and new plug-ins for integration with MAM and Ardendo and Avid archive, etc.
In the ingest section, vsnautorec will be shown in two new versions: one allows you to simultaneously record the content in high resolution and its proxy; the second allows to send to the central server the recorded content immediately that the ingestion begins, which enables functions such as "edit-while-it-is-ingested" combined with systems such as Grassvalley's Edius5 and Apple's Final Cut Pro, among others.
VSN will also unveil vsnarchive3 (DAM), a new generation of digital audiovisual archive that allows a more efficient use of storages through a unique H.264 encoding process. Finally, the new vsncg+ (character generator and graphics server) offers a unique combination of high-quality graphics, fast and flexible authoring tools, and manual-automatic simultaneous operation in integration with VSN playouts.
