FOR-A will introduce the FVW-500HS HD/SD Video Writer, formally known as MBP-100VW. Originally conceived as a solution for visually illustrated sports commentary, the FVW-500HS is also ideal for news and weather programs.
The system has a touch screen that allows you to draw on HD/SD-SDI video in real time. It has shapes of pre-programmed lines, circles, arrows, numeric icons and it is also possible to use it for freehand drawing. Properties such as line thickness, color and edges can be altered through on-screen menus. In addition, it is capable of displaying AVI animations and small film shorts. Users have the option to import their own icons, animations, and video clips. The drive also has a TGA file for AVI file conversion.
Operators can mark the image on the air from the touchscreen panel. The unit can be configured with internal keys. The FVW-500HS is easy to use thanks to its customizable keyboard for frequent operations. The FVW-500HS features standard HD and SD outputs and inputs, and works with a variety of formats (1080/59.94i, 1080/50i, 720/59.94p, 720/50p, NTSC and PAL).
