Argentina. Netflix opened its new offices in the neighborhood of Villa Crespo, in the City of Buenos Aires, from where it will continue to promote new productions made in Argentina.
The company launched in Latin America in 2011, has been producing Argentine content since 2018 and has offices in the country since 2021. With this opening, it expands its local team and reinforces its commitment to the country, consolidating its commitment to developing local stories with global reach.
"Argentina has become the protagonist of our regional strategy due to its audiovisual tradition, creative power and ability to tell local stories whose transcendence and forcefulness make them universal," said Francisco Ramos, Vice President of Content for Latin America. "Our commitment to the country and the Argentine audiovisual industry is not only renewed but strengthened with what was announced today. In addition, we celebrate 15 years of Netflix in Latin America by inaugurating new offices and consolidating our local team."
The new office reflects Argentine identity and talent. Its design is inspired by the cultural richness of the environment, capturing and integrating its essence in every detail. The selection of furniture and design objects, developed entirely by different artists from the country, reinforces the authorship and national production, consolidating a space that expresses contemporary creativity combined with references to titles of the service.
From its new offices, the company announced the productions made in Argentina that will be part of its programming in 2026 and 2027. In addition to the stories already released so far this year: The Time of the Flies, In the Mud Season 2, Parque Lezama and The Last Giant, nearly 20 films, series and documentaries will be added.
