EVS launched its eShop with on-demand workflows

EVS lanzó su eShop con flujos de trabajo bajo demanda

Latin America. EVS has officially launched EVS eShop, an online platform that allows broadcasters, service providers and production engineers to instantly acquire, configure and manage Activation On Demand (ODA) licenses.

With EVS eShop, EVS customers can now scale their production infrastructure autonomously as needs change, increasing agility, optimizing resource usage, and maintaining profitability without compromising performance.

"EVS eShop offers our customers the ability to respond instantly to changing production needs, whether it's adding replay channels on short notice, upgrading to UHD for a flagship broadcast, or enabling advanced tools for a special project," said Jean-Charles Drappier, EVS Senior Vice President of Portfolio and Business Innovation.

Today, broadcasters and media companies need to do more with less, and the eShop is the direct answer to this reality. It eliminates the need for upfront investments in features that are not continuously used, offering operational flexibility and smarter budget control.

The EVS eShop offers a secure and intuitive workspace where users can activate temporary licenses and monitor the use of their infrastructure. Built-in management features, including role-based permissions and approval workflows, help technical and finance teams stay on the same page, while maintaining full control and traceability.

At launch, the eShop is compatible with several key EVS products:
- XT-VIA and XS-VIA Live Production Servers: Expand the number of channels, upgrade the output resolution to UHD, and activate packages that include Super Motion, Advanced Super Motion, and Split Screen options.

- VIA XSquare and XFile3: Add transcode targets, enable SDR/HDR conversion, or adjust the frame rate to meet multi-format delivery requirements.

- Xeebra Multi-Review System (VAR): Activate Xeebra Insight's AI-assisted offside tools or user licenses for medical and performance analysis equipment.

As for EVS trusted channel partners, the eShop allows them to easily provision licenses to customers while maintaining complete visibility into the accounts they support. This approach strengthens partner-customer relationships and ensures a seamless experience for end users.

The online store is now available on https://viaportal.evs.com, where customers can log in with their accounts to browse the catalog and start managing their licenses right away.

Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, EVS will evolve the platform with additional products and features, defining the future of on-demand scalability and enabling broadcasters and media companies to stay agile in an ever-evolving media landscape.
