Uruguay. The Blackmagic Tour Uruguay 2025, organized by IntekTV, concluded its second edition with an outstanding call, reaffirming its place as a key space for meeting, training and exchange for the country's audiovisual community.
The event was held at the Ignis Center of the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU) and brought together students, professionals, teachers, content creators and technicians interested in learning first-hand about the latest Blackmagic Design innovations, with a special focus on comprehensive workflows and state-of-the-art tools.
One of the great milestones of this edition was the presentation for the first time in Uruguay of the new Blackmagic PYXIS 12K, a cinematographic camera that aroused great interest for its versatility, image quality and ability to integrate into modern production flows, from the set to post-production.
The conference was attended by two internationally renowned specialists: Anna Fucci, ADF, Director of Photography, and Cecilia Belliz, AAC-ACC, Master Trainer of DaVinci Resolve, who offered live demonstrations, technical talks and spaces for exchange with the attendees.
During her presentation, Anna Fucci highlighted the relevance of these new tools in the face of the current demands of the industry: "Today creators need tools that accompany the real way in which content is produced: in an agile, flexible way and with increasingly high quality standards. The PYXIS 12K isn't just a full-resolution camera; It is a complete professional ecosystem that integrates capture, color, sound and post-production within a unified flow, allowing you to choose between maximum quality or lighter flows without giving up cinematic aesthetics or creative control."
For her part, Cecilia Belliz underlined the value of the experience from an educational and community perspective: "Being able to open this space to such a diverse community of creators shows that Blackmagic Design is an accessible, intuitive and powerful ecosystem. In addition, having products with direct imports, warranty and local support is essential for the growth of users in Uruguay."
In addition to the training content, the event included networking spaces, equipment tests and a special raffle of a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2 among the attendees, reinforcing the close and participatory nature of the meeting.
IntekTV thanked Vindonur, its local partner in Uruguay, for its commitment and joint work, as well as the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU) for opening its doors again and accompanying this initiative. He also thanked Blackmagic Design and Rick Fernández, Director of Business Development for Latin America, for their continued support for this type of instance that promotes the development of the audiovisual sector in the region.
With this second edition, the Blackmagic Tour Uruguay continues to consolidate itself as a reference platform for the exchange of knowledge, technological updating and the strengthening of the local audiovisual community.
