Latin America. LiveU announced a new partnership with Kinetiq, the AI-powered platform that unifies global media intelligence into actionable insights, and creator of Teletrax watermarking technology.
With this partnership, Kinetiq incorporates Teletrax watermarking within LiveU Matrix, LiveU's cloud-native IP video distribution platform, allowing broadcasters to add secure and persistent watermarks to live streams without the need for additional hardware.
Reliable and cost-effective, the LiveU Matrix distribution platform allows users to exchange live video streams directly in the cloud, with high quality and low latency, accessible from any browser.
Broadcasters, sports organizations, and public safety agencies use LiveU Matrix to distribute content at scale without the need for expensive dedicated infrastructure. With a reach of more than 5,000 customers in 150 countries, LiveU Matrix offers up to 70% cost savings compared to traditional satellite or fiber distribution systems. This integration also reinforces the openness and interoperability of the LiveU ecosystem with other solutions on the market.
Kinetiq's Teletrax watermarking technology adds a new layer of intelligence and protection to live video streams. This persistent and imperceptible technology inserts identifying data within the video content, allowing precise tracking of where and how material is transmitted or disseminated. For nearly 25 years, Teletrax has helped news, sports, government and entertainment organizations validate rights usage, protect proprietary content and measure reach across more than 6,000 television and digital platforms worldwide.
With the new integration, customers can insert Teletrax watermarks directly from the cloud, eliminating the need for expensive on-premises hardware. This cloud-based approach reduces costs, improves latency, and makes it easier than ever before to track and secure live content globally.
"The combination of LiveU Matrix and Kinetiq's Teletrax watermark allows our customers to scale their live distribution while protecting their most valuable content," said Christian Diehl, Senior Director of Product Management at LiveU.
The integration is now available to customers working in conjunction with LiveU and Teletrax.
