Brazil. The audiovisual market of the Northeast welcomed Blackmagic Design at the SET Regional Northeast and Blackmagic Week events, both held in Fortaleza. Solutions for the broadcast market were presented, such as the ATEM workflow, PYXIS cameras, the URSA Broadcast G2 and the new URSA Cine 17K 65.
The Pinnacle Group, Blackmagic Design's official representative in Brazil, participated with an equipment exhibition stand, with the support of the official distributor Broadmedia.
Both were sponsors of the SET Regional Northeast event, which featured the special participation of Pinnacle Group's Chief Commercial Officer and Brand Ambassador in Brazil, Fabio Angelini, who gave a presentation on the infrastructure panel "The Future of Content and Distribution: Connecting Production, Smart Distribution, Infrastructure and Monetization", moderated by Ronald Almeida, technical engineering manager of the O POVO Communication Group and regional representative of SET Nordeste.
In Fortaleza, the Pinnacle Group carried out a new stage of the immersive event Blackmagic Week Fortaleza, in the Culture and Art space of the O POVO Group. The event was attended by brand ambassadors and special guests such as Cristiano Moura, Master Trainer of DaVinci Resolve, and Gerson Mello, producer and CEO of Open Cage.
During the day, participants attended lectures on Blackmagic Design's new cinematic cameras, the latest features of DaVinci Resolve, and a mentoring session on the audiovisual market with AI applications.
Everyone had access to the equipment presented, in addition to participating in a production with the PYXIS 6K and URSA Cine 17K cameras, attending a DaVinci Resolve Master Class and even competing for prizes at the end.
And now in Rio Janeiro
The ABC Film Meeting will take place on the 13th, 14th and 15th of this month, organized by ABC - Brazilian Association of Cinematography and ABC Film Courses, with the support of Rio Filme, the City of Rio de Janeiro and CineCarioca José Wilker.
This will be an excellent opportunity for the Brazilian audiovisual community to come together, focusing on the exchange of experiences, debates and the presentation of new technologies.
The ABC 2025 meeting will bring together professionals and students from all areas of audiovisual creation and production, including:
● Photography, sound, art, editing, visual effects, and sound effects;
● Directors, screenwriters, producers (including independent producers and large corporate producers);
● Camera, electrical, machinery and post-production technicians and assistants;
● Film and audiovisual students looking for learning and networking opportunities;
● Representatives of the audiovisual equipment, services and technology industry.
The Pinnacle Group will be hosting a conference on 14 November from 13:00 to 15:00, with the theme: From 4K to 17K: Immerse yourself in the cinematic revolution of the URSA Cine 65mm.
Ambassador Fabio Angelini will explain how Blackmagic Design's new camera is defining the concept of resolution, color and depth in digital cinema.
In addition to Blackamagic Design, Pinnacle Group will be showcasing the new MEIKE Full Frame Prime lenses at the event with a complete kit including 16, 24, 35, 50, 85, 105 and 136mm lenses. Also on display will be the new E-Image carbon fiber tripods and the powerful and robust EG65 Pro, which supports up to 188 kg, as well as the new line of Meike FF Prime Lens Kit, E-Image EG65 Pro tripod and 1000 W 2000x LED spotlight.
