Colombia. Proimágenes Colombia presented its balance sheet on cinema in the country for 2024. It is worth noting that in the previous year, attendance at movie theaters decreased by 7.9% compared to 2023 for a total of 49.63 million viewers.
He pointed out that, when considering this attendance figure with respect to the historical maximum reached in 2019, the value is 23 million spectators below, that is, around 67.9% of the attendance at movie theaters obtained in that year.
Additionally, when comparing the value of 2024 with the figure of the average attendance obtained between 2015 and 2019, the value is at 77.5%. This exercise suggests that the levels of attendance obtained in years prior to 2019 have not yet been reached.
