Mexico. For two days, the company Ross Video and its local distributor Sistemas Digitales, presented to their customers in Mexico City all the novelties launched at the recent NAB Show 2025 fair.
On behalf of Ross, Jorge Sobenes, Director of Sales for Latin America, were present, as well as the new Director for Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America Roy Neira and the architect of graphic solutions Mauro Palma, who also recently joined.
Jorge Sobenes told TVyVideo+Radio that "this is a more focused post-NAB Show event, in which we can be calmer with customers and show them the large number of products and solutions we have."
At the event, the company's solutions were presented, integrated into three blocks. Roy Neira explained each of them to TVyVideo+Radio.
The first was focused on news. In this part, visitors were able to observe the Inception news system, integrated with Ross' Xpresion and flow-controlled graphics system.
The second was the PTZ camera system. The cameras were operated from a jostick and previewed in the multiviewer. The signals were sent to the Ultrix system and distributed via Ross stream. There was also a control interface for all inputs and outputs of the Ultrix.
The third was dedicated to virtual production. It had the TD2 Panel, through which the inputs and outputs of the Carbonite were controlled, as well as the virtual scenarios generated by Voyager. Roy Neira pointed out that all the technology presented at this event is available for Mexico, and that today they have a large installed base that works very well.
Finally, Jorge Sobenes stressed that they are looking for this to become an event that is a tradition of the brand with its customers. And soon it will be held in other countries in the region.
