Latin America. Alessandro Planamente, representative of VSN, highlighted the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the broadcast industry. As he mentioned, AI is "revolutionizing the way we create, manage and distribute content," with a significant impact on process automation, workflow optimization and predictive analytics capability.
VSN integrates AI into its solutions to enhance human capabilities. "Our vision is focused on integrating AI in a way that enhances, not replaces, human capabilities," Planamente said. The company will introduce VSNArena at NAB2025, an innovation that incorporates advanced AI capabilities for content management, including automatic real-time event analysis, facial recognition, automatic metadata generation, transcription and machine translation, and real-time analytics.
In addition, existing solutions such as VSNExplorer are being enhanced with AI algorithms for automatic cataloging, intelligent search, and resource optimization.
Interest in AI is also on the rise in Latin America. Planamente observes "a clear trend towards the modernisation of infrastructures and the search for operational efficiencies". Latin American broadcasters are particularly interested in solutions that allow them to maximize their resources and improve the monetization of their content.
By 2025, VSN forecasts significant growth in the Latin American market, driven by the accelerated adoption of AI-based technologies. The company expects increased demand for integrated solutions that combine intelligent automation with operational flexibility.
