Latin America. Blackmagic Design's URSA Cine 12K LF digital cinema model was recently added to Netflix's list of approved cameras, officially titled "Cameras and Image Capture: Requirements and Guidelines to Follow."
This list lists the requirements necessary for a camera to be accepted by the streaming platform, including dynamic range, resolution, codecs, and support for work dynamics, among others. Netflix requires that 90% of a show be filmed with company-approved cameras, which already include the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K and URSA Mini Pro 12K OLPF models.
This state-of-the-art digital film camera integrates seamlessly into post-production dynamics. It includes a fast, high-capacity internal memory for storing recorded material and can be connected to a network for instant sharing.
In addition, it offers a 36 x 24mm RGBW 6K sensor with larger photosites that provide exceptional dynamic range and supports mounts for EF, PL, LPL and Hasselblad lenses. On the other hand, its wireless technology allows signals to be transmitted using the SRT protocol, which facilitates the review of the images remotely by the customer. Thanks to the LEMO and Fischer connections, it is an ideal camera for high-end film productions.
