32 years benefiting broadcast audio

32 años beneficiando el audio para broadcast

Argentina. Since its inception in 1992, Trialcom has specialized in the development and manufacture of audio solutions for the broadcasting industry. TVyVideo+Radio spoke with Javier Gratz, CEO of the company, who highlighted that today they have achieved an international presence, exporting their products and solutions to various countries in the region.

"Our product portfolio includes radio audio consoles, as well as a full range of ancillary solutions such as audio distributors, telephone hybrids and headphone distributors," he said.

During this year, Trialcom's solutions have participated in projects that cover both new installations and upgrades of existing infrastructures. These projects have been carried out in different parts of Argentina and Latin America.

"A common aspect in many of these projects has been the challenge of integrating traditional broadcasting technologies with the new demands of streaming. Our teams have proven to be instrumental in this process, providing the flexibility needed for our clients to adapt to this changing media landscape without compromising the quality of their broadcast," said Javier Gratz.

And these projects are taking place despite a not so positive outlook for the local and regional economy. Trialcom's CEO explained that "Argentina's economic situation in recent years has presented a series of complex challenges for our industry. At Trialcom, we have found ourselves in a position of duality. On the one hand, in the recent past, we faced significant obstacles to competing in the foreign market due to restrictions on access to the foreign exchange market for imports and the distortions generated by exchange rate disparities. These conditions affected both our ability to acquire inputs and to establish competitive prices for our exports."

He added that, with the recent economic measures implemented by the new government since December, they have begun to observe some normalization in some of these aspects. In addition, the reduction of barriers to access to foreign exchange and the reduction of exchange rate distortions have begun to alleviate some of the pressure we were experiencing in our international operations.

Javier Gratz concluded that, despite this challenging panorama, "at Trialcom we remain committed to innovation and adapting to new market trends. We believe that it is essential to maintain a long-term vision, investing in the development of solutions that allow us not only to survive the current situation, but also to position ourselves favorably for when an economic recovery occurs."
