Uruguay. IntekTV, Blackmagic Design's master distributor for Uruguay, in collaboration with VINDONUR S.A., an authorized sales channel, presented the Blackmagic Tour Uruguay 2024, which will offer an immersive experience on camera workflows and color management using the Blackmagic Cloud.
The event will take place in Montevideo on November 14 and 15, and is divided into two days full of learning and networking with industry experts. The first day will be open to the public and is ideal for professionals and enthusiasts of film, television and audiovisual production, while the second will be aimed exclusively at students, graduates and professors of the Catholic University of Uruguay.
Day 1: Event open to the public

● Panel Discussion: Industry experts will share their experiences and answer questions.

Day 2: UCU Private Event

During this day, students, graduates and professors of the UCU will learn about the capabilities of the new Blackmagic Camera App, working with Blackmagic cameras of different models and profiles. Through hands-on exercises, they will explore how these technologies integrate with Blackmagic Cloud and DaVinci Resolve 19 to improve capture, color correction and remote collaboration.
Attendees will learn how to use Blackmagic cloud solutions to optimize post-production and communication between work teams efficiently, using tools accessible to any student.
This second day is carried out with the collaboration of the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU).
Both events will feature the participation of renowned experts:
● Cecilia Belliz, AAC - ACC, is an outstanding professional with more than 20 years of experience in the audiovisual industry. Trained as a television producer, editor, colorist and post-production supervisor in Argentina, she has worked as a Master Trainer for DaVinci Resolve. Since her arrival in Chile in 2014, she has contributed to the growth of the industry as a colorist, post-production supervisor and technical producer in film festivals and regional productions. In addition, since 2021 she has been part of the team of tutors of the Master of Color Grading in DaVinci Resolve at the Animum 3D school (Malaga), and teaches workshops and workshops as an ambassador of Blackmagic Design.
● Pablo Arribas, Director of Photography - ACC, is founder and director of Check The Gate. He has had the privilege of participating in audiovisual works awarded in different film festivals, both in Chile and abroad; working in Cinematography, Screenplay, Direction, etc. He is also a proud co-founder of one of the most recognized musical/documentary projects in Chile: "La Vitrola" with whom he received the highest award "Premio a la Música Nacional Presidente de la República", in 2016. He has also had the pleasure of working outside his country (NY, USA, BSAS, Argentina), where he worked as Director and Cinematographer. He has directed and/or photographed a couple of short films, two feature films and a documentary; one of them carried out in North America. In addition to an endless number of advertising, cultural and corporate works as a director and cinematographer. Today he continues his work as Director of Photography in advertising, music, social networks and film.
