Mabel Mompó, Chief Operations Officer de IntekTV

Latin America. For the IntekTV company, the goal for 2024 is to expand its presence in the market, with a constant focus on training its resellers. TVyVideo+Radio spoke with Mabel Mompó, the company's Chief Operations Officer, who shared details of these plans.

"Our strategy includes further strengthening our position in the market with iconic brands such as Blackmagic Design, Skaarhoj, Aida, Sony, Canare, among others. We seek not only to maintain, but also to expand our presence and participation in the industry, offering quality products backed by exceptional service. Continuous training of our resellers and strong positioning of our key brands are core elements of our vision for long-term growth and success."

In that sense, your attendance at NAB Show 2024 expects to find the latest innovations in image capture and processing technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), content economy, live events, streaming, virtual production, and evolution of workflows. They will also take the opportunity to establish and maintain strategic connections with manufacturers and industry peers, with the clear benefit to their distribution channel and end customers.

And regarding customer interest in the region, he pointed out that the most demanded technologies currently include 12K content capture, HDR post-production and 12G streaming, which allows for higher video speed and quality. "In addition, solutions for collaborative work in the cloud have gained relevance, facilitating remote collaboration and efficient management of audiovisual content."

Finally, he recalled a project in Peru in which they had recently participated. In collaboration with VideoPro, they renovated the television studio of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). This project has been carried out with the aim of surpassing the technological and workflow standards established by the previous studio (Estudio TV2) and consolidating itself as the most advanced university television studio in the country.

In this regard, Mabel Mompó said: "We are excited to have collaborated with VideoPro to transform PUCP's television studio. This initiative demonstrates our continued commitment to innovation and excellence in delivering cutting-edge audio and video solutions."
