Beta version of system for content creation launched

strada

Latin America. Strada is a cloud-based platform that eliminates the complexities and inefficiencies faced by professional content creators.

Built for all types of content creators, from Hollywood cinematographers to independent filmmakers, YouTubers, and all collaborators in between, Strada automates tedious manual tasks, simplifies workflows, and reduces turnaround times, allowing the creator to focus on creative storytelling.

The customizable platform experience allows users to design workflows for their unique post-production needs, with features such as multi-cloud synchronization, multi-camera playback, automatic transcription and translation, transcoding, and artificial intelligence. Tagging and analytics, all controlled from a sleek and intuitive browser interface.

Strada is the brainchild of Hollywood tech veterans Michael Cioni, a workflow expert with hundreds of film and television titles in his portfolio, and Peter Cioni, an accomplished media and entertainment executive. The two are seasoned entrepreneurs who have partnered several times to launch startups and develop innovations that have left lasting marks on the industry at large.

Through their combined experience and deep understanding of the post-production landscape from creative, technological, and business perspectives, the Cioni launched Strada to address workflow challenges that creatives are all too familiar with.

"I've been working in production and publishing my entire professional career; I know that if I'm struggling with creating content, there are millions of people who are continually frustrated when dealing with the shortcomings of the tools available to us," explains Michael, CEO and co-founder of Strada. "With recent advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning, I believe there are new ways to leverage the cloud to automate and remove bottlenecks in workflow. Strada is the first AI-powered platform designed for the creative community."

Built and tested by a team of creatives with deep roots in film technology, Strada analyzed the recurring challenges faced by still image, sound, and video workflows and traced them down to consistent foundational components across the board. They call them the 4 T's: Transfer, Transcribe, Transcode, and Tag/Analyze (nicknamed: Tanalyze).

Strada's 4 T's:
Transfer: Right out of the box, Strada supports Dropbox, Google Drive, Frame.io, and Lightroom, allowing users to view their media within a single GUI, as well as transfer between destinations. More integrations to come.

Transcribe: Automatically create searchable captions in over 100 languages.

Tanalyze: Automatically tag objects, people, locations, and emotions for advanced search.

Transcode: Export metadata-rich files for editing and distribution.

Michael sums up the beta launch: "Strada is much more than a tool for viewing media and managing assets; it will unlock workflows that other tools can't achieve."
