Argentina. The Tecnoteca is a space of permanent operation dedicated to the recognition, training and productive articulation in technology and innovation projects aimed at youth.
It is a program of the National Agency for the Promotion of Research, Technological Development and Innovation (Agencia I+D+i) that aims to awaken scientific and technological vocations in young people and to be protagonists of innovation.
There will be workshops on streaming, prototyping and animation, production and editing of content for social networks, as part of the training paths of the Tecnoteca that will be managed by the Municipality of San Martín and will accompany the groups of young people who will be formed in the Tecnoteca.
It has escape rooms with scientific challenges; a gamer space; the permanent exhibition "Innovation Argentina", which shows projects of SMEs and technology-based companies that receive the support of the National Agency for the Promotion of Research, Technological Development and Innovation; and an immersive corridor with science and technology communication content from the Pulsar platform.
The R + D + i Agency carries out the TIPAR program aimed at financing projects for the creation of Tecnotecas as part of the Innovation Program for Smart Growth, an investment agreement in science, technology and innovation that is carried out with the support of the World Bank.
This year 240 young people will be trained who, at the end of the training journey, will receive a certificate and, in the near future, will be accompanied to position themselves in the productive sector.
Two other Tecnotecas have already been awarded, one in Rosario, Santa Fe and another in Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego. Both are led by the municipalities of each place. In addition, several other municipalities presented their expression of interest to have their own spaces.
