Colombia. The ICT Minister, Mauricio Lizcano, awarded the 92 beneficiaries of the 'Abre Cámara' 2023 call, whose productions will reach the screens in 2024 with training and accompaniment from the ICT Ministry.
The leader of the ICT sector celebrated with the winners "we are very happy, today we deliver to 92 productions of special and national content, 25 billion pesos (about US $ 6 million) that were awarded in total transparency with more than 48 national and international juries that in different categories reward these productions today".
Lizcano pointed out that these calls "have a very important message and it is the message of Afro-Colombians who are awarded for the first time, indigenous communities and most are regional producers, so we are very happy."
He also announced three audiovisual calls during the event 'Turn on Public TV: first meeting of MinTIC with the audiovisual industry'.
'Youth who Transform' with an investment of $ 2,625 million, and 'Regions without Limits', with an investment of $ 3,500 million; will be available from this June 22, 'Stories of Change', which has an investment of $ 4,200 million, which will begin on July 4, are part of this offer that brings the ICT Ministry for the sector.
