America Television installs Ross Video solution

peru

Peru. América Televisión implemented Ross Video's Piero Video sports analysis tool in two recording studios to improve coverage and viewer experience of a recent soccer world tournament.

Piero enables America Television to apply graphics and animations to its event coverage, helping it deliver cost-effective, state-of-the-art analytics for video replays.

The purchase of Piero is the latest investment in Ross Video's technology by America Television, which also includes the use of XPression Graphics, Dashboard, Vision, Carbonite, Ultrix Acuity, Cambot and Inception Cloud graphics products in a successful partnership that dates back more than seven years.

The main challenge America Television faced was to deliver innovation in production, creativity and engaging content for its coverage of soccer events. As an existing user of Ross Video products, Piero's implementation extends the strong partnership between the two organizations.

"Ross Video has been a valued technology partner for America Television for several years, so we are confident in investing in their cutting-edge technology solutions," said Wilfredo Viñas, technical director of America Television. "The implementation of Piero has played an important role in increasing the quality and creativity of our replay analysis, a development that our viewers have welcomed."

A key advantage reported by América Televisión during the acquisition and implementation process was the versatility of Ross' team and the availability of 24/7 technical support. The new solutions Ross offers have added value to the business by providing more options for analyzing football action, resulting in greater spectator engagement.

"América Televisión understands that sports fans value fast and informative analysis of replays, and PIERO is the ideal solution to bring viewers closer to the action," said Jorge Sobenes, Regional Sales Manager for Latin America at Ross Video. "We are delighted to expand our partnership and look forward to supporting their innovation strategy in the future."
