With its 1.0-type (1.0-inch) sensor, the X20 is a great help in recording events and many other situations thanks to its optical performance, which reliably captures the subject and mobility that only a portable camera with an integrated lens can offer.
20x optical zoom and 24.5mm wide-angle lens
The lens covers a range from 24.5mm wide-angle to 490mm telephoto lens with 20x zoom. i.ZOOM achieves 24x zoom with 4K resolution and 32x zoom with Full HD.
Versatile recording mode
Supports a high bit rate of 200Mbps for 59.94p/50p video recording with the HEVC codec (LongGOP/4:2:0 10-bit/MOV). Super Slow Motion supports 10-bit Full HD recording at 120/100fps* and VFR 4K (Ultra HD) from 2 to 60fps** for high- and low-speed recording to enable creative video expression.
High-precision 4K AF
The Face Detection feature captures subjects on site without exposure issues or insufficient blur. Also, by adding color recognition, it improves the tracking of subjects, without interruptions, when the face moves to both sides.
5-axis HYBRID O.I.S.+
In both Ultra HD and Full HD modes, in addition to optical image stabilization, electronic image stabilization detects and corrects hand shakes in the 5-axis direction. The O.I.S. ball bearing system reduces friction in the drive section, which especially improves the correction of small amplitude blur.
Internal 4:2:2 10-bit recording
Record a 10-bit 4:2:2 color profile up to LongGOP Ultra HD at 29.97p/25p (150Mbps) or Full HD at 59.94p/50p (100Mbps) with SD cards. It transmits 10-bit Ultra HD images at 59.94p/50p via HDMI.
Full HD Live Streaming
RTSP/RTP/RTMP/RTMPS compatible HD streaming enables direct connection and distribution of concert, sports, events and news trailers on Facebook, YouTube, etc.
Wireless control from a tablet or smartphone
A Wi-Fi module is integrated, so Wi-Fi connection is allowed only the body. The HC ROP app for tablet or smartphone, wireless camera settings and lens control can also be used.
