Bolivia. Radio Fides is a Bolivian radio station belonging to the Society of Jesus. Its first edition was on February 2, 1939, it has a variety of local and national programming. It currently manages its operation both in FM and online with a great audience success throughout the country, where they are recognized as one of the most outstanding media.
During the last technological renovation of the regional studios, the technical management of the company has decided to bet on the AEQ FORUM IP digital console as the heart of it, for its robustness, ease of operation and modular design. AEQ FORUM IP is a mixer designed for ON AIR emission control. It incorporates all the basic features necessary in this type of environment: automatic cutting of monitors, cough cutting, faderstart, signaling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercommunication, etc.
AEQ FORUM IP adapts to different scenarios: self-control, control-locutorio, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large installations, etc. Simplicity and control power are combined in the AEQ FORUM IP console to cover both the most basic and advanced operating needs. They can be equipped with AoIP multichannel input and output cards compatible with the new AES67 protocol via DANTE™ technology. Through this connectivity, signals can be collected and delivered on other consoles, routers, and other input and output terminal equipment, from more than 300 different manufacturers. You can also choose to have the connectivity MADI, and you can equip up to two internal digital phone hybrids.
There are currently three regional studios of Radio Fides working with AEQ FORUM IP digital mixers in the cities of Yacuiba, Oruro and Potosí.
