Streambox now has greater support for Blackmagic Design

Streambox y Blackmagic Design

United States. Blackmagic Design announced that the Iris and Spectra programs, developed by Streambox to encode and decode signals, are now compatible with the DeckLink and UltraStudio capture and playback products, making it possible to use them with DaVinci Resolve Studio.

Put more broadly, it is possible to use Streambox programs with DaVinci Resolve Studio to create work dynamics in the cloud that allow professionals to see the same high-quality images from anywhere, just like on a local monitor.

Streambox

The advantage of this is that Streambox products allow you to view 12-bit images in 4K resolution, both on public and private networks, with high quality, thus promoting the contribution and dynamics of collaborative work at a distance. In addition, this company is a pioneer in the development of technologies for the transmission of audiovisual signals with outstanding clarity, as well as in the creation of solutions that allow professionals in the media industry to work remotely.

Streambox's Iris and Spectra product line integrate with DaVinci Resolve Studio using conventional application programming interfaces (APIs) and can be used with any UltraStudio or DeckLink model.

It can be said that the reason for this new offer is that the demand for services to be able to encode and decode high-quality images, using Streambox products in the cloud, has increased significantly with the use of DaVinci Resolve Studio and the recent launch of the Blackmagic Cloud platform.

Bob Hildeman, CEO of the company, commented: "By allowing our users to work with any of Blackmagic Design's capture and reproduction products, we offer them the possibility of having a comprehensive work dynamic that includes these programs developed by Streambox. These can be used with DaVinci Resolve or any other professional solution, even in the cloud, with the assurance that everyone will be able to work with the same crystal-sharp images."

Specifications of this improvement
Spectra offers users of cloud applications the ability to encode transmitted signals with outstanding quality, so they can see accurate versions of images with high quality and low latency. In addition, this solution allows you to transmit such content without delay to various collaborators who use DaVinci Resolve Studio anywhere in the world.

For its part, Iris provides the opportunity to create a decoding program compatible with all devices in Blackmagic's UltraStudio line, thus facilitating the connection of professional SDI or HDMI monitors to achieve the best quality.
