NAB. Both the streaming and professional video markets have remained very active in Latin America. That's the vision of the industry in the region from Bob Caniglia, Blackmagic Design's Director of Sales Operations for the Americas.

There are several projects in the region in which they have worked with Blackmagic technology, including the audiovisual production company based in Buenos Aires Pandax 4K relied on five URSA Broadcast cameras, along with a live production switch ATEM 2 M / E Production Studio 4K and ATEM 2 M / E Advanced Panel, to broadcast and broadcast live the celebration of the 10th anniversary and reopening of Tecnópolis, the largest art, science and technology exhibition in Argentina.
The Pandax 4K team was also equipped with Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and URSA Mini Pro 4.6K cameras for any last-minute need, DeckLink 8K Pro capture and playback cards, ten 12G fiber optic Mini Converters, SmartScope Duo 4K monitors and two HyperDeck Studio 12G recorders Recently, Pandax 4K also incorporated Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro and URSA Broadcast G2 cameras into its workflow to elevate even more its productions and services.
On the film side, DaVinci Resolve Studio was used for remote post-production, including editing, grading, visual effects and audio publishing, in the Argentine film "Machine to See the Soul". The film was also shot with a Pocket Cinema Camera 4K digital film camera in Blackmagic RAW.
For the return to the NAB Show, Bob Caniglia looks forward to meeting with colleagues, customers and attendees at this year's show. Among those new products are the URSA Broadcast G2, a professional broadcast camera with a 6K digital film sensor that brings digital film quality to traditional and online broadcasters. The advanced 6144 x 3456 digital film sensor provides exceptional low-light performance with dual gain ISO up to +36dB, as well as 13 stops of dynamic range.
In addition, they will showcase the Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus and the Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro, which have the same features as large studio cameras, only miniaturized in a single compact and portable design. With 13 stops of dynamic range and Blackmagic Generation 5 Color Science, the cameras can handle extremely difficult lighting conditions. Attendees will also be able to see the new HyperDeck Studio family of models.
