Argentina. wTVision and Mediapro provided a real-time data and graphics solution for the SportsCenter+ program. The solution includes live statistics from the world's top football leagues, live updates on relevant events, and full graphics automation.
The unique project developed by wTVision and Mediapro Argentina for ESPN is based on two very important prerequisites: the automation of broadcast graphics and the continuous integration of live data in the SportsCenter+ program. ESPN needed an intuitive solution, capable of ensuring automated data insertion into engaging charts that could attract viewers and sponsors.
To achieve this, wTVision designed a setup with Studio CG (on-air video and graphics controller) as the driving force behind the production of a show, where live updates and competition events around the world are the main focus.
Studio CG receives all data from the Stats Perform data center and, in combination with VIZ Engine, is capable of generating streaming graphs with relevant sporting events. The data includes more than 15 football leagues from around the world, with detailed statistics such as shots, corners, ball possession, player performance, chronologies, recent form, heat maps and table positions. The same solution is now ready to integrate data from other relevant sports, such as Formula 1 and Tennis.

Its flexibility and robust capabilities facilitate the integration of third-party data, adaptation to our customers' pre-existing workflows, and complete automation of the operational process," said Jorge Kossowski, Account Manager at wTVision.
To make sure nothing goes unnoticed when it comes to automation, the SportsCenter+ production team is equipped with a Studio Core and content management site, web-based tools where summaries can be customized, charts and data can be prioritized, and fully automated. With this simple solution, wTVision reduced the manual operation of the program and the time spent reorganizing data and graphics during live broadcasts.
In addition, to better develop and integrate these relevant statistics during the long hour of SportsCenter+ streaming, wTVision's streaming design team developed the creative package of all graphics containing data. The creative team designed and integrated the on-air graphics where the information is displayed, taking into account the data-driven component of the program and the identity of the clients.
