NSI Industries acquired TechLogix Networx

Latin America. NSI Industries acquired TechLogix Networx, a manufacturer of collaboration technology and fiber optics based in Madison, Wisconsin. This acquisition will help NSI support its distributors and customers in transitioning from copper-based solutions to the fiber optic technologies our world demands today.

"The acquisition of TechLogix helps support our distribution of copper and fiber optics in the Pro AV and Telecommunications categories, which combined with Platinum Tools constitute a core component of our overall growth strategy," said G. R. Schrotenboer, CEO of NSI Industries. "This is an excellent multi-level acquisition. NSI Industries now enters an emerging technology space using fiber optics to help deliver faster communication speeds. In addition, we now have two industry thought leaders joining our team and we are gaining PI in an important and emerging vertical market. We are excited to welcome the TechLogix team to our core leadership group."

TechLogix Networx has become a leading brand in the emerging fiber optic technology and collaboration segments. The company has pioneered technology to simplify fiber optic installation and migrate buildings to an Internet-based high-definition world.

NSI has been connecting electrical category distributors with products, services and technologies since 1975. Today, NSI Industries has many respected brands, including Bridgeport Fittings, Platinum Tools, Polaris, TORK, WarriorWrap Professional Tape, TERMINATOR Premium Cable Connectors, RHINO Safety, and now TechLogix Networx.
