Argentina launched Renacer Audiovisual program

Argentina. Until October 18, the registration of Renacer Audiovisual, a program of the Ministry of Culture and the Secretariat of Media and Public Communication aimed at the reactivation of the audiovisual industry, is open. The projected investment is $2,400,000,000 Argentines.

Producers, producers, directors and directors from all over the country will be able to present projects in five categories: Unitary Documentary, Documentary series, Fiction series, Historical Fiction series and Animation series.

In total, 82 original productions will be selected for funding, according to a plural and federal criterion. Both human and legal persons may participate. Registration will be made through the Federal Register of Culture until October 18 inclusive.

The Renacer Audiovisual call is organized in three lines of competitions, which will be carried out by Contenidos Públicos S. E. For the Provincial and Regional Production Contest, 42 projects from the different categories will be selected, among the 24 provinces and the six regions: Centro Metropolitana, Centro Norte, Cuyo, NOA, NEA and Patagonia.

In another category, the National Productions contest, 15 proposals will be selected without distinction of geographical area.

Finally, for the Contest of National Co-Productions, there will be 25 projects assigned, also without geographical distinction. In all cases the theme for the cycles is free and broad.

Who is the call for proposals for?
Producers, directors and directors from all over the country are invited to present unpublished audiovisual projects for the realization of 82 original productions.
Both human and legal persons may participate.

Projects
In total, 82 original productions will be selected for funding, according to a plural and federal criterion.

They will be organized into 5 categories:

- Unitary Documentary
- Documentary Series
- Fiction Series
- Historical Fiction Series
- Animated Series

The 82 winning projects will be selected from three lines of competitions:

- Provincial and Regional Production Contest
- National Production Contest
- Co-production contest with channels, signals and platforms
