Latin America. Blackmagic Design announced a variety of new products and updates, including the new ATEM Mini Extreme, Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro and Web Presenter HD.
ATEM Mini Extreme
A new larger model of the ATEM Mini live production mixer. This new model is the most advanced 1 M/E switch that features 8 inputs, 4 ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyers, a total of 6 independent DVE, 2 media players, 2 downstream keyers, 16-way multiview, 2 USB connections and multiple HDMI auxiliary outputs.
There is also a new ATEM Mini Extreme ISO model that includes all these powerful features plus a more powerful recording engine that can record all 8 inputs plus the program for a total of 9 recording streams. Both new models include a streaming-quality streaming engine for live streaming to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and more.
If users are doing live production on-site, the ATEM Mini Pro and Extreme models support connecting an Apple or Android phone to the USB port to use mobile data. It is also an excellent backup for the main Ethernet connection. The phone tethering works with the latest high-speed 5G phones plus the more common 4G phones.
Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6K Pro Camera
A more powerful model that includes functions for high-end digital movies. This new model includes a brighter 1,500 nits adjustable HDR touchscreen, built-in ND filters, larger battery and support for an optional electronic viewfinder. This model also includes the latest generation of color science 5, Super 35 HDR image sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range, dual native ISO of 25,600 and a popular EF lens mount.
Made of a lightweight carbon fiber polycarbonate composite, the camera features a multifunction grip with all recording, ISO, WB and shutter angle controls at your fingertips. Because it is an advanced digital film camera, the sensor is designed to reduce thermal noise, allowing for cleaner shadows and a higher ISO. In addition, the large 5-inch LCD screen allows you to get a perfect focus with 4K and 6K resolutions.
The optional Blackmagic pocket battery grip allows you to replace the standard LP -E6 battery of the 4K and 6K models with two L-series batteries. Blackmagic's Pocket Camera Battery Pro Grip adds two additional NP-F570 batteries to the 6K Pro for over 3 hours of recording on a single charge.
Web Presenter HD
A standalone streaming solution that includes a broadcast-quality H.264 processor for direct streaming to platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and more. The new Web Presenter HD is a compact design that includes a 12G-SDI input with down converter, so customers can connect to HD or Ultra HD equipment and stream in full 1080p video. Also included is an integrated front panel with LCD and menus, USB webcam functions, plus a unique monitoring output with audio meters, transmission status, and technical details of integrated audio and full SDI.
