Latin America. The Atomos Pro Kit has been designed to bridge the gap between compact cinema and mirrorless cameras that can generate Apple ProRes RAW via HDMI or SDI.
Pro Kit also pushes the boundaries of these cameras, recording up to 12-bit RAW externally on the Ninja's built-in SSD. In addition, Pro Kit provides the ability to cross covert signals that provide a versatile solution for monitoring and reproducing/reviewing.
The Pro Kit includes Ninja V, AtomX SDI with activation for the new RAW functionality, cross-conversion from HDMI to SDI, along with the DC to Dtap lock cable to power the camera battery. It also includes the AtomX 5" Sunhood, which offers a monitor and recording package to cover a wide range of workflows.
The Ninja V's compact 5" 1000nit display is designed to provide a foundation for scalability and modularity. Combined with the AtomX SDI module and some serious under-the-hood tweaks, the Pro Kit provides the ability to record RAW via SDI from some of the best compact cinema cameras on the market.
The addition of dual 12G SDI connectivity extends support for other cameras to provide external 10-bit 422 recording in ready-to-edit codecs or as proxy files from RED or ARRI cameras, allowing the file name and camera timecode to also be carried through SDI to file recording.
In playback mode, the Ninja V provides lossless signal distribution with 2 x 12G SDI and 1 x HDMI 2.0 for simultaneous outputs up to 4K p60. When used in combination with Ninja's playlist functionality, it provides a quick and convenient way to review content or display a featured reel.
