Colombia. Fans of video games, animation, technology, music, Artificial Intelligence (AI), advertising, entrepreneurship and digital transformation can now register for free to the largest digital culture and Orange Economy event in the country held by the Ministry of ICT, Colombia 4.0 version 2020.
The Minister of ICT, Karen Abudinen, confirmed that this year the event will be virtual and invited technology lovers to guarantee their participation by registering in www.col40.co, clicking on the 'Register for free' button and filling out the registration form.
"Colombia 4.0, version 2020, ignited engines. Since 2011, the year in which this great event was launched, more than 260,000 people have attended and now we expect to have 50,000 virtual attendees. I invite all entrepreneurs, creative content creators, and technology lovers from Colombia and Latin America to sign up," the minister said.
Abudinen explained that once the registration has been sent from the event's website, the virtual assistant will receive an email with the address of access to the live broadcasts of the virtual talks, commercial samples and business meetings "so that the attendees can expand their networks of contacts and continue to be successful in the market."
"This year, Colombia 4.0 will become the world-class event that will bring together, in the same virtual space, the main exponents of Latin America in animation, video games, music, media, advertising, entrepreneurship, fintech, digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and industries 4.0," ratified the official.
The minister confirmed that this year will have the participation of speakers of the stature of google's manager for Colombia, Giovanni Stella; academy Award-nominated Pixar soul animator Trevor Jimenez; Facebook's public policy manager, Brian Towsend; and the founder of The 3 Collective, Mónica Escobar, who has campaigned for artists such as Juanes, Paulina Rubio, and worked for multinationals such as Sony and Universal Music Latino.
"Colombia 4.0 will be 100% virtual this year, which means a great opportunity to strengthen the positioning of the ICT sector and contribute to the growth and development of this increasingly important industry for the country," added Abudinen.
The minister concluded that the event will have a thematic agenda of 200 representatives and exhibitors of the digital content industry, so that attendees can be updated on the latest trends in development, markets and marketing.
