International. The Radio of the Miguel Hernández University has recently inaugurated a new studio with a large space for the public or students not participating in the programs, as well as has created other studios in different campuses in Spain.
UMH Radio, broadcasts on FM in all its campuses and on various platforms ON LINE.
The new digital broadcast studio, in the Atzavares building on the Elche campus, includes a call center with seating for the public. The main digital control is equipped with an AEQ Digital Mixer, Forum IP Split model of 16 faders.
The Forum mixer has a configuration of 5 micro/line inputs, 8 stereo analog line inputs, 8 stereo analog line outputs, 8 digital inputs/outputs in AES3 and SPdif format, 4 USB inputs/outputs, 64 MADI inputs/outputs and 2 Digital telephone hybrids.
It is also equipped with the Forum Screen visualization software, which allows to visualize in an extended and graphic way the parameters of use such as dynamics, parametric equalizer vúmetros, etc.
AEQ, carried out the installation of the mixer together with the auxiliary equipment supplied in the same file (microphones, listening monitors, turntables, etc.) and that complements the main control.
In the presenters' room, 7 connection plates were installed for microphone and headphones with AEQ HB-02 attenuator. In the locutorium the AEQ Studio BOX desktop signage and the AEQ ON AIR plates in the accesses and interior of the studios.
In the studios of the Orihuela and Altea campuses, AEQ digital equipment was also supplied and installed. The configuration of both studies is the same. Each control has an AEQ CAPITOL mixer with double digital telephone hybrid, and an AoIP DANTE module that allows connection with the AEQ NETBOX 4MH call center interface, also supplied.
As in the Elche campus, auxiliary equipment was also supplied, connection plates for microphone and headphones with AEQ HB-02 attenuator, AEQ Studio BOX and AEQ ON AIR boards for the accesses and interior of the studios.
The entire project has been led by the commercial manager of AEQ for the Valencian Community Mr. Bernardo Saiz in coordination with the technical services of the Radio Universidad Miguel Hernández.
