Colombia. On Tuesday, July 21, the 11th edition of the Bogotá Audiovisual Market-BAM begins, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá and Proimágenes Colombia, with the support of the Fund for Cinematographic Development and the District Institute of the Arts.
This year, it was transformed to offer an online version and thus contribute to the reactivation of business contacts, the dynamism of the industry, and the updating of the market.
Until July 28, business appointment requests are open from the Connect to deal space where those accredited to the market can schedule their meetings. There will also participate the best national content selected by call in the categories Bammers, Stories, Screenings & Projects, which make up the Colombian Showcase. Everyone will have the opportunity to request virtual appointments with the main festival organizers, production companies, television channels, content developers and entities specialized in the promotion of audiovisual products for various platforms in countries such as Italy, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Argentina, Chile, among others.
The appointments will be held from July 29 to 31 through the scheduling platform, where participants can request and manage their appointments with representatives of entities such as the San Sebastian International Film Festival, Sundance, Ventana Sur, the Directors' Fortnight of Cannes and many more.
Another exclusive networking and learning space for those accredited are the Roundtables, more than 20 virtual meetings where international experts and professionals will talk with limited groups of 10 participants. There will be present characters of the stature of Matthew Takata, leader of the International Feature Film Program at the Sundance Institute; Antonio Saura, CEO of Latido Films; Sarah Calderón, co-founder and director of The Film Agency, among other representatives of production companies and film festivals.
