Latin America. For the past ten weeks, Ross Video has hosted Ross Live 2020, a weekly series of presentations, podcasts, and product launches designed to highlight best practices in a variety of live production environments. However, all good things must come to an end, and we will be closing the season on July 14.
Douglas Johnson, Product Manager for Video Servers, will present an exciting new addition to the range of Video Server solutions that will be ideal for content creators working on both sports applications and live events.
Also joining the broadcast will be CEO David Ross and Jeff Moore, Executive Vice President, to complete our season of presentations with a look at the show's highlights, a preview of what's to come later in the year, and a look at how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected Ross Video, to its customers and to the various events and fairs we regularly attend.
Looking back, David Ross reflects on the events surrounding the birth of the show. "With only a few weeks between the cancellation of NAB Show 2020 and the original dates of the show, we had to drastically change to change our online content. Our product management and corporate marketing teams have gone to great lengths to bring this program together and run it so efficiently and professionally, and the number of attendees has been extremely impressive over the course of the ten weeks. We've generated great content and I know our audience has really enjoyed it."
Jeff Moore looks to the future and the "new normal." "During this shutdown period, Ross introduced a number of innovations designed to help content creators work from home and adapt to the situation without compromising production value. Our latest cloud-based production platform is a prime example, allowing talents and/or guests at home to be included in programs through a browser-based portal that features multiple EMs, a mute 'tos' button, configurable audio without mixing and replicating. We all know that our post-Coronavirus world won't be the same as before, but Ross is ready for the 'new normal' and we're here to support our customers and help them adapt."
