Colombian strip of Enchufe.TV

Latin America. On July 9, the alliance was announced to produce a strip of Colombian sketches, within the 2020 season of the popular digital channel Enchufe.TV, which on YouTube already has more than 23 million subscribers.

This alliance is formed by Arturo Yépez, CEO of Touché Films, Ana Barreto, Executive VP and Country Manager of FoxTelecolombia and Juan Pablo Morales, CEO and founder of Nuevos Medios Entertainment, who gave details on how operations will work in the framework of the pandemic.

Yépez points out that, due to isolation measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, digital consumption has grown unprecedentedly and that this represents a great opportunity for creators and digital media, but it also poses a great challenge.

"The moments we are living force us to look for new models and processes in the creation of content. With this alliance we seek to open ourselves to the Colombian market with our own entertainment content, and we will do it initially with a quarantine special, taking advantage of the resources we have at this time and guaranteeing all security measures. We are facing a panorama that presents us with new and attractive branded content opportunities and we will find ways to make the most of them," said Arturo Yépez, CEO Touché Films

With the representation of Juan Pablo Morales, CEO of Nuevos Medios, Touché Films will have its operation in Colombia for the production of the new sketches as well as for the consolidation of direct commercial relationships of branded content. According to Morales, one of the greatest expectations with this alliance is to be able to transform the way brands use digital advertising today, and that they turn to innovate in different languages and narratives. That they discover that the emotions aroused by comedy formats and entertainment are the best way to engage with the audience and establish relationships with them.

"Our goal is to find you, every brand and every institution, the right story to connect responsibly with your audience, and Enchufe.TV is the first choice when thinking about digital advertising. For FoxTelecolombia it has always been very important to link to innovative and versatile projects so the proposal of Touché and New Media to form an alliance to tell stories with proven success such as those of Enchufe. TV but with the local tint, it was very interesting. The goal is to offer the Colombian audience content with the seal of the digital channel but produced locally, with national talent combined with those already well known by the community of Enchufe.TV.

With this agreement, the 3 companies seek to expand their know-how and multiply their opportunities both in the Premium market (Fox Telecolombia) and in the digital market (Touché Films).
