Ecuador. The Telecommunications Regulation and Control Agency, Arcotel, extended until July 7, 2020 the reception of the applications and annexed documents established in the bases of the Competitive Public Process for the Open Signal Sound Broadcasting Service in FM.
This extension of the deadline for submission of documentation is subject to the applicable regulations and responds to several requests received by the Agency.

Receipt of applications: until July 07, 2020
Physical receipt of the guarantee of seriousness of the offer: until July 07, 2020
Verification of information received in the presence of a Notary Public: until July 9, 2020
Minimum Requirements Submission Review: Until July 16, 2020
Publication of demand determination results: until July 27, 2020
Simplified Award Process:
Documentation review: until August 11, 2020
Receipt of clarifications: until August 25, 2020
Notification and publication of results: until 11 September 2020
Requests for review: until September 25, 2020
Acceptance, subscription and registration of the enabling title in the Public Registry of Telecommunications: until October 29, 2020
The entity clarified that the participants who completed the procedure in the institutional web platform developed for the reception of the documentation of the Radio Frequency Contest and require modifying or uploading new documents or files, may update them until July 7, 2020, the deadline for the submission of applications.
In addition, no modifications may be made to the application document addressed to the Executive Directorate of ARCOTEL called "Application Form".
Finally, the entity pointed out that in the coming months competitive public processes will be developed to award television and broadcasting frequencies in Amplitude Modulated.
