NAB Show confirms its realization from April 18 to 22

NAB. The National Association of Broadcasters, organizer of the NAB Show, said the 2020 fair will take place as planned, April 18-22 in Las Vegas. The Association assured that it is closely monitoring COVID-19, commonly known as coronavirus, and is prepared to dedicate all necessary resources to ensure a safe and productive NAB Show experience.

"NAB Show is committed to ensuring that our response during this challenging time is responsibly based on facts, not driven by fear. We continue to closely review all guidance from global, federal and local health authorities to implement what is needed for the good of our entertainment community and the good of our industry."

According to the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD), there are currently no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Southern Nevada.

On-site safety provisions at NAB Show
NAB Show is working closely with federal and local health authorities to ensure they are well prepared to hold a safe and productive show in Las Vegas. They are implementing appropriate measures including:

Public health messages shared prior to the event and prominently displayed on the site during the event
Personal hygiene provisions for all show participants were strengthened.
Rigorous environmental hygiene and increased availability of disinfectants
Up-to-date on-site medical support
Dedicated support to address coronavirus-related concerns

Impact on participation in the NAB show
"Our thoughts are with all members of our entertainment community who are affected by the Coronavirus and cannot join us this year. We are in contact with exhibitors and attendees who are affected by travel restrictions and are working with them on options in the absence of being able to attend in 2020."

He stressed that with the exception of these extraordinary cases, they are not seeing unusual cancellations of exhibitors. Similarly, attendee registrations keep pace with the normal patterns they see year after year.
