Colombia. Entrepreneurs from five departments of the country are the beneficiaries of the Capital Early Stage initiative of Orange Economy ICT, which will develop a project -co-financed by the Ministry of ICT and iNNpulsa Colombia, which contributes significantly to the growth and development of their businesses.
In total, the initiative will support 22 Colombian companies and entrepreneurs, selected from 67 proposals that were presented in the call and that met the requirements raised. Nine of these are already in execution. The beneficiaries are located in the departments of Cundinamarca (Bogotá), Cauca, Santander, Atlántico and Sucre.
Among the projects presented are the creation of advertising strategies, digital marketing and the development of new sales channels to expand the market penetration of companies, purchase of technical equipment for the realization and post-production of a film series, two animation and the strengthening of technological readiness for the commercialization of products.
Through Capital Early Stage of Orange Economy ICT, it seeks to promote the activities of the creative industries, science and technology, with economic support for the benefited companies to develop innovations using technologies, digitize their processes, advance their digital transformation of production processes and strengthen their positioning through digital tools, among other activities.
In the program, it is planned to invest about $2,164 million pesos, with which each venture or company will be supported with resources between $ 50 and $ 100 million non-refundable to be able to advance their project.
Among the companies benefited, there are businesses related to the audiovisual industry, design, new technologies, software engineering and content design, among others.

Capital Early Stage of Orange Economy ICT is part of the Orange Digital Transformation strategy, an initiative of the Ministry of ICT and iNNpulsa Colombia (MinCIT), made up of four calls aimed at supporting those projects that advance or want to venture into businesses related to the Orange Economy and that was created to strengthen and promote the development of creative and cultural industries through the appropriation of information technologies.
