Mexico. ARRI is expanding its representation structure. In addition to its long-standing collaboration with Cinetec, ARRI has reached an agreement whereby AM Technology, Amtec, will join its network of representatives.
The current increase in production volume has reinforced the need for more representation at the local sales level. AMTEC will help expand ARRI's presence particularly in the broadcast sector. Wilson Zeferino, ARRI Director for Latin America and Account Sales explains this decision: "With Amtec and with Cinetec in Mexico we have all our bases covered.
Amtec possesses a deep knowledge and understanding of the local industry and will help grow our brand in Mexico and, indirectly, throughout Latin America. Not only have we joined forces with another dynamic sales rep, but his knowledge of workflows, production and post-production processes is invaluable. This was an added advantage for us and helped to make the decision happen."
Located in the Colonia Del Valle area of Mexico City, Amtec has been operating in the market for more than 27 years. Andrés Martínez Ríos, director of Amtec and son of the founder commented that "Our goal is to be advisors to our clients, with first-class after-sales services and training. In order to be able to represent ARRI correctly we have made several changes to our product list but we are delighted to join the ARRI team." Both distributors in Mexico City will represent the full line of ARRI products for cameras and lighting.
