VAV was the company selected to cover the passage of celebrities on the red carpet before starting the 34th edition of the Goya Awards. For this occasion, the Madrid production company moved its mobile unit nº21 in 4K, usually destined to the production of major sporting events or TV galas.
This unit is equipped with 10 cameras, with Canon and Fujinoin optics, 4 EVS XT3 servers and a Kahuna 9600 mixer among other equipment. The audio is installed on a Dante network in which they are located, a 36 + 8 Fader audio production console, Dolby encoders and Genelec monitors. For external links, the mobile unit has AEQ Netbox 32 AoIP interfaces, AEQ Phoenix Stratos audiocodecs and a complete CorssNET 104 intercom system.
The AEQ intercom system, together with the IP audio network, is composed of the CROSSNET 104 matrix, with 64 Dante-AES67 ports, which serve the TP 8116 rack panels, the TP 8416 desktop panels, as well as an Olympia 3 Commentator Unit, and 12 4-wire analog circuits, which offers great flexibility of work and operability.
The advantage of Crossnet for VAV is that in addition to being used for coordination, the audio quality it presents is suitable for live broadcast, which allows to incorporate the Olympia 3 commentator unit and route the audio of commentators through Crossnet.
From the audio production console, through the CROSSNET matrix, return, commentator intercommunication with the studio and with the control of the mobile, and various listening signals such as PA and the sound of the event / program for TV are sent.
