Colombia. The experienced journalist Álvaro García Jiménez, who has an extensive career in national and international media, in addition to having worked as an editorial project manager and consultant in strategic communications, assumed the management of RTVC.
In Colombia, García has been deputy director of NTC Noticias, of the Noticiero Nacional; editor of the magazine CROMOS, founder of the magazines CARAS and Jet Set; contributor to Semana publications; director of RCN News and opinion programs Primera Línea (RCN TV), Palabras Más (Claro TV), and Interview with Álvaro García on the National Radio of Colombia. He was also the director of well-known documentaries such as "Operation Check" for Nat Geo.
The new Manager of RTVC also founded and directed Red Mas Noticias and held the Vice Presidency of Continuity at the Univision network in the United States. García Jiménez, who has won the Simón Bolívar National Journalism Award six times, was also Colombia's ambassador to Argentina and most recently served as Presidential Advisor for Communications in the Presidency of the Republic.

Juan Ramón Samper will lead three content generation projects in cooperation with the Vice Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and MinTIC. During his tenure, he launched the application of the RTVCPlay platform, implemented his own model focused on the satisfaction of the Entity's natural audiences and held the First International Forum of Public Media 2019, strengthening Colombia's leadership in the face of the challenges posed by the digital convergence of content.
