Argentina. With the presidency of Claudio Ambrosini, the first meeting of the new Board of Directors of the National Communications Agency (Enacom) was held, in which it was stated that the new management will emphasize the increase in connectivity, the promotion of the national industry linked to Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) and the generation of content.
In this regard, the head of Enacom said that "Argentina needs to deploy the necessary telecommunications infrastructure to increase its productivity, generate genuine, quality work and export capacity."
He added: "We must increase the speed of management and generate concrete results in increasing connectivity, promoting national ICT industries and facilitating the generation of content of all kinds."
The first meeting of the Board of Directors of Enacom was also attended by the directors Gustavo López, Gonzalo Quilodrán and Miguel Ángel Giubergia. There, in addition to beginning to draw up the management strategy and address the priorities, Non-Reimbursable Contributions (NRAs) were approved to bring connectivity to inland localities, as well as license files that awaited treatment.
