Latin America. The Qnap company had an important growth in the territories of Latin America in 2019, results that allow it to invest more and offer more values to partners and end customers in the coming years.
David Lira, Business Development Manager at Qnap, told TVyVideo+Radio that Qnap has announced a number of new solutions at technology Day events at the end of 2019.
"These features will be released soon and available in solutions in early 2020. Including dedup with remote backup capability, HBS3; Hybrid Mount, which connects enterprises with more than 22 public cloud service providers as hybrid cloud solutions; Boxafe - the full public cloud backup for Google G-suite and Microsoft 365 services; Fiber-channel SAN, and more."
He stressed that the company will introduce the new generation of solutions for companies and network service providers by uCPE (Universal Customer Premise Equipment) and VNF (Virtual Network Functions) architectures. SD-WAN was presented as one of the essential features, with more possibilities can be run on top of the uCPE platform.
David Lira stressed that Qnap will bring more training events to channels and customers in Latin America. In addition, it already has more than 50% of its NAS models for companies and SMEs supporting the 10 GbE network. This year 2020, there will be medium and small business models to support the 2.5GbE network as the default of 1GbE network interfaces.
