Brazil. Brazilian Content, the audiovisual content export project promoted by BRAVI in partnership with the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Trade and Investment (Apex-Brazil), organized for the first time the visit of the Brazilian delegation to MIP Cancun, which took place from November 20 to 22.
With an agenda very focused on co-production and also on the sale of content to Latin American countries, the Brazilian producers held meetings with several market players, including a Meet Up where the participants of the event could meet the delegation of Brazil.
"Several possibilities have been discussed and the cross-market approach has great potential to generate business for Brazilian producers," said Mary Morita, executive manager of Brazilian Content. "Because it is a smaller event, attended by around 1,000 people and with all the activities in one place, MIP Cancun was an excellent opportunity for players to meet in the corridors more easily, and this resulted in more contacts and a greater rapprochement between Brazil and the Latin market," she says.
The 16 companies that participated in MIP Cancun were Astrolábio Studio, Boutique Filmes, Druzina Content, Elo Company, Forest Comunicação, Glaz Entretenimento, Medialand, Moonshot Pictures, Panorâmica, PinGuim Content, Quanta Post, Sentimental Filme, Story Productions, Stuplendo, Teleimage and UP Voz.
