Brazil. VSN announced a new collaboration with the Brazilian company SNEWS, through which it will provide customers with the possibility to centralize and unify news production in a single workspace to maximize efficiency.
VSN and SNEWS bundle their news production and content management strategies, so that customers of both companies can benefit from an interoperable solution to produce news in their own way. VSN's NewsConnect, the first web plugin for a MAM system that allows complete customization of the news production work environment, now integrates with the ANEWS Newsroom Computer System (NRCS), so that users can access directly from the ANEWS interface to the VSN MAM system and the rest of the required third-party tools, regardless of your provider.
The combination of NewsConnect and ANEWS finally allows the visualization of all assets and videos stored in the VSNExplorer MAM system from the ANEWS interface. In addition, it allows users to easily and directly access all the advantages and features of VSNExplorer MAM, such as quick cataloging; advanced search for assets and video files; the player in low; video editing functionalities; and content retrieval, among others.
This new collaboration paves the way to working with a single interface in news production, where journalists and editors can benefit from simple and quick access to all the tools that allow them to write their news; locate the necessary video files; edit them and include voiceover and graphics; preview the final news in real time; and send them for dissemination or publication on the web and social networks anytime and anywhere.
"The integration of VSN NewsConnect with ANEWS gives users the flexibility and freedom of choice they need in a fast-paced environment such as that of the broadcast and media sector," says Roberto Duif, Director of LATAM Sales at VSN. "We are confident that this joint solution will make a difference in the industry and especially in the Brazilian market. From now on, companies in the sector will be much more efficient and faster when producing news, by bringing together the best third-party systems in a centralized and unified workflow to accelerate processes."
"ANEWS now has one more solution in its set of integrations, extending its possibilities to centralize news production in a single interface," says Marcos Assis, project analyst at SNEWS. "This integration provides a tool for content viewing, placeholder creation, video editing, proxy file viewing and advanced search functions, without the need to use an external tool, through a plugin that works within ANEWS."
