Brazil. The most recognized specialists and companies working in production, distribution, technology, broadcasting and services related to media and entertainment will gather at SET Expo 2019. The event will consist of a congress and fair of products and services, and will take place from August 26 to 29 at the Expo Center Norte.
The event will bring together students and experts in the field, including entrepreneurs, business leaders, professionals, representatives of government agencies and startups from around the world. For the third time, SET Expo has received official certification from the U.S. Department of Commerce as an excellent business opportunity, trade show Certification (TFC). The certification reinforces the support received from more than 30 national and international institutions. According to 2018 data, the 2019 edition of the Fair is expected to mobilize US$20 million.
Congress
This will be the 31st Congress of Technology and Media and Entertainment Business. It offers more than 56 panels and 200 lectures on recurring market topics and innovations. These include topics such as "The Future of Satellite Distribution", "Evolution of the Pay-TV Market in Brazil", "Cybersecurity", "New Business Models of TV 3.0", "Fight Against Audiovisual Piracy", "Audience Measurement" / Social Media', 'Big Data, Analytics and AV's New Business', 'Chatbots and e-Sports'. The program also has a day dedicated especially to the subject of radio, SET Radio is a vehicle to the fever of the moment, podcasts, which hopes to gather 2,000 participants in four days.
Fair
The Products and Services Fair will be held from August 27 to 29 and is expected to receive 20,000 people. In total, 150 national and international companies will demonstrate more than 400 brands and exhibit the latest in the market in sound capture, image, transmission and operation employed throughout the audiovisual production chain. Canon, Sony, Hitachi, Panasonic, Avicom, Embratel and Zoom Verizon Digital are just some of the major brands present.
A novelty that should attract the attention of visitors in the exhibition pavilion of the fair is SET Arena, which will offer free conferences and workshops to visitors offered by the exhibitors and partners themselves. It will accommodate up to 60 people in each of 30 conferences and workshops.
