Mexico. Panasonic's new generation of portable camcorders is spearheaded by the AG-CX350, a model that combines high-quality video capture with connectivity and IP transmission capability, making it ready for a wide range of productions.
This camcorder, with 4K UHD image resolution, is now available to Mexican filmmakers through panasonic's dealer network in Mexico.
For its image quality, with 4K UHD resolution at 10 bits and compatible with HDR, it is a camcorder that offers multiple options of recording formats. To achieve this level of quality, Panasonic developed a lens of advanced 24.5mm optical technology, which allows you to record wide-angle images with minimal distortion, without the need for a conversion lens. This lens reaches a 20x optical zoom and covers up to 490mm of telephoto in all modes.
The 15Mb MOS sensor offers exceptional depth of field and a great balance between image quality and sensitivity, while its five-axis hybrid image stabilizer combines the optical and electronic compensation functions of camera movement.
The AG-CX350 features three rings for manual zoom, focus and iris control, which is highly valued by professional videographers looking for a quick response and the tactile feel of controlling these functions. For its part, the zoom lever, located at the top of the handle, has a multi-step variable control function, which gives the option to zoom smoothly at a very slow speed when mounting the camera on a tripod.
Its portable design is one of its key features and therefore encloses all its functions in a compact body (18.0 x 17.3 x 31.1cm) and very light of just 2.3kg, including lens and battery. In addition, its operation is low power consumption, which optimizes the operating time without the need to recharge or change the battery.
The AG-CX350 uses NewTek's RTMP/RTSP communication protocols and NDI (Network Device Interface) communication and connectivity IP technology. Thanks to the use of RTMP / RTSP protocols it is possible to transmit via Facebook or YouTube with High Definition quality, while with NDI technology, in addition to making a live transmission of video and audio, the camera can be controlled from a system configured with the Panasonic AV-HLC100 Live Production Center. With these options it is very easy to achieve transmissions from anywhere, a very useful function in the production of news or for the dissemination of any type of event.
It is also possible to control it wirelessly from a remote position using a free tablet or smartphone app. In this way, it is possible to place the AG-CX350 without the cameraman having to operate it directly, which is very comfortable in small and narrow places, or outdoors.
The new AG-CX350 camera is available from June 2019 with the companies Escape, Vyorsa, Fotomecánica, Teknomerica, Video Integra, among other channels of specialized distributors of Panasonic in Mexico.
