Latin America. TVU Networks announced its partnership with Stringr, the premium video marketplace for personalized, high-quality video content. It is now available through TVU Global Grid, the cloud platform for content owners to contribute and obtain videos, allowing assets to be shared and sold on a global scale.
Using its TVU Global Grid platform, users can exchange, share and sell video content. Users can view the public video sources that are available worldwide, and request to take the broadcast and make it available to their own audience.
TVU Grid Interface
Stringr allows users to access its content library and request custom streams from more than 90,000 videographers worldwide. In addition, broadcasters, publishers and brands in the U.S. can access Stringr's live streaming feature, which launched earlier this year. Users will now be able to submit requests via TVU Grid, and as a videographer on the Stringr network starts sharing live footage, it will be streamed directly to TVU Grid.
Stringr Platform
"TVU's network is used by thousands of newsrooms around the world. The integration of Stringr will provide TVU users with all the benefits of our platform, without having to switch between the two, thus saving time, reducing unnecessary costs and maintaining the quality of the content," said Brian McNeill, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Stringr.
The Stringr/TVU Grid workflow is transparent. A joint client requests a Stringr video. When one of Stringr's more than 90,000 videographers gets up and running with a video that matches the request, the feed is sent via Stringr, directly to TVU Grid. From there, the joint client can take the feed as it would for any other TVU content.
