To this are added the 36 licenses already granted previously, adding a total of 79, in the provinces of Catamarca, Corrientes, Jujuy, Tierra del Fuego, Chaco, Chubut, La Pampa and San Luis.
Likewise, progress was made in the standardization of radios through the regularization of 16 Precarious and Provisional Permits (PPP), which will allow ordering and improving the administration of the spectrum, equalizing rights and obligations between providers. In this regard, the president of Enacom, Silvana Giudici, said: "We are fulfilling our challenge of normalizing the situation of the FM in Argentina, a regularization plan that comes to settle a debt of democracy that is 30 years old."
It also approved the opening of new simplified public tenders for the award of FM radio licenses in those places where radio spectrum is available. The initiative will be implemented in the provinces of La Rioja, Formosa, Misiones and Santiago del Estero from 1 to 12 July; and in Mendoza and Tucumán from July 22 to August 2.
