Latin America. For 3 years the company Blackmagic Design is advancing a free training program for its users. Within the framework of this program, during the last version of NAB Show it allocated a training space for its Davinci Resolve system, which had as a novelty to provide training in different languages, including Mandarin and Spanish.
The Colombian Diego Yhamá, Master Trainer of Davinci Resolve, was in charge of dictating the course in Spanish that was repeated two days and which had a great reception. The room set up for the training was full both days and there were even people standing attending the training.
"It was the only factory that had a training at its stand in Spanish. The main fear was the response of Latinos and the factory had no higher expectations. Every person who passed by the booth and had a Latin face, I invited him. In the end the room was full and the directors of Blackmagic Design went to see what was happening," Diego Yhamá told TVyVideo+Radio.
He added that "people were happy, they felt they were being taken into account, people were asking." In addition, of the six technical books that the company has, two are already in Spanish and the idea is that all will be in Spanish in the coming months.
In the company's plans, it is continuing to expand Spanish-language training throughout the region. There is even the possibility of continuing to replicate this experience in other international fairs.
